Have breakfast at Morning Glory Café. The restaurant specializes in vegetarian fare, but accommodates meat eaters, too. Vegan and gluten-free options are available as well. Entrées cost $5.50–9.50. With a full belly, make your way to Alton Baker Park for a stroll. The park features trails, a dog park and duck ponds.


Visit Elk Horn Brewery for lunch. Not far from the University of Oregon campus, the brewery serves up Southern-style pub grub in addition to its selection of beer and cider. Sandwiches start at $10.99. Visit the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. Located on the University of Oregon campus, the museum is known for its Asian and Northwest works. Open Wednesday–Sunday, adult admission costs $5. Check the website for free and pay-what-you-wish days.


Enjoy dinner at Party Downtown. The cozy downtown spot boasts an ever-changing menu highlighting the best seasonal and local ingredients. Entrées cost about $12–22. Indulge in a creative cocktail with your meal ($7–10).
