Located outside of the Dr. Seuss Museum, the garden features more than 30 bronze statues of famous characters like the Lorax and the Grinch. Entrance to the garden is free.

Have lunch at Storrowton Tavern. The Springfield institution has served hearty New England fare for more than 40 years. Lunch entrées, including Yankee pot roast and fish and chips, range about $7.50–20. After lunch spend some time exploring Storrowton Village. The recreated village brings visitors back to 18^th- and 19^th-century New England. Stroll through the shops and check the calendar for events during your visit.
