Gear up for the spooky Halloween season by visiting Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights . The event immerses horror fans in a three-dimensional terror experience with a pop culture twist. The Orlando, Fla., and Hollywood, Calif., Universal Studios each host the event, with slightly different offerings at each.
The event runs select nights Sept. 15–Nov. 4. The entire park comes alive with wandering demons and monsters. For the first time ever, the film The Shining will bring its brand of horror to both Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood with a terrifying maze. Guests will experience the film’s iconic moments from the Overlook Hotel.
In Orlando, experience haunts inspired by films and television series including The Purge, Saw and American Horror Story: Roanoke. The Hollywood location offers those experiences as well as Ash vs Evil Dead, Insidious, The Walking Dead and visits from horror film villain favorites Jason (Friday the 13th series), Freddy (Nightmare on Elm Street series) and Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre series).
