Sweet Amalia Oyster Farm is a unique dining destination in Newfield, New Jersey. The aquaculture hand harvests its own oysters on site. In addition to delivering oysters to local restaurants, Sweet Amalia also operates a market and restaurant.
Sweet Amalia oysters are plump with notes of salt, earthiness, minerality and sweetness. Oysters are grown on the Cape May Peninsula in the waters of the Delaware Estuary known as the Cape Shore Flats. The team uses sustainable practices when harvesting oysters.

Diners can experience these luscious oysters firsthand at the market and restaurant. Open Thursday–Monday, Sweet Amalia Market & Kitchen serves oyster-focused dishes alongside other seafood and non-seafood options. The menu offers oysters, soup, salads, sides and sandwiches. Sweet Amalia features another local oyster purveyor daily in addition to their own. Enjoy these raw, baked or fried. Soups and salads vary seasonally and typically include seafood chowder and salads of local lettuces. Sandwiches are assembled on house-baked bread. Choose from oyster or clam rolls or non-seafood options like eggplant cutlet, roasted pork or peppers and egg. In addition to the regular menu, daily rotating specials are available. Diners are encouraged to BYOB.

Insta FeedAre You Ready for the Final Switch to Real ID?
Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming. Now, travelers must show a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued ID in order to fly on domestic flights, in lieu of a non-compliant driver’s license (some other forms of identification, such as passports, will still be acceptable).
