Enjoy a fall escape on Baja California Sur’s vibrant Sea of Cortez and learn the dynamics behind the fun and fast-growing sport of paddling on a five-day, all-inclusive wellness retreat at CostaBaja Resort & Spa.

Slater Trout, an avid surfer and swimmer and one of the world’s top stand-up paddleboard racers, promises to lead participants in a variety of water-based fitness adventures this October at the 5-star, beachfront resort, overlooking a scenic mountain range and the crystal-clear Sea of Cortez. An internationally renowned stand-up paddle racer who competes on the World Tour circuit, Trout is the 2014 U.S. SUP Tour Racing Champion.

Held Oct. 15–19, the wellness retreat offers daily clinics and workshops led by Trout and includes all local excursions and CostaBaja’s world-class amenities. Pricing for single occupancy is $1,999, and $1,649 for double occupancy and also includes all meals, beverages (open bar), taxes and services.

“We are thrilled to have Slater hosting this event here at CostaBaja,” said Eduardo Herrera, general manager, CostaBaja. “It’s the perfect setting for him to share his love of staying fit and healthy while having fun on the water.”

Located 10 minutes south of downtown La Paz, the resort boasts the region’s finest destination spa, Mexico’s only Gary Player-designed golf course, three pools, a 250-slip double-basin marina and several on-site dining options.

Retreats Unlimited presents the retreat, offering unique, transformative and unforgettably fun wellness holidays.
