Electronic music is ubiquitous these days, but sometimes it can be hard finding a club that caters to the techno and tech house scene. If you’re itching for that underground sound, check out these six venues around the world.

Warung, Itajaí

Inspired by the temples of Indonesia, Warung Beach Club caters to Brazil’s growing appetite for dance music with its carefully curated sound.

Fabric, London

The London venue is known for its critically acclaimed FabricLive mix series in addition to its bass music nights, but weekends at this former meatpacking warehouse are strictly for techno and tech house.

Womb, Tokyo

A variety of artists are invited to play at this large, technologically advanced club, though the futuristic design and carefully tuned sound system seem to be made specifically for techno.

DC-10, Ibiza

It’s not as old as the other Ibiza strongholds, but Circoloco has repeatedly been hailed as the best club nights for tech house, minimal and the underground side of 4×4 dance music.

Cielo, New York City

Located in the meatpacking district, Cielo is mecca for clubbers in New York who prefer underground sounds to the mainstream cheese common to Manhattan.

Watergate, Berlin

Located right on the banks of River Spree, Watergate is a house and techno venue that gives Berghain a run for its money.
