Belize might be small, but it’s home to plenty of zip lining centers. Hurtling through the jungle feet above the ground might not be everyone’s idea of fun, but it’s definitely exhilarating for thrill seekers.

There are varying lengths and speeds of cables in Belize but most of them are in the jungle. Some places, such as Calico Jack’s Village, offer night-time jungle zipline tours for an entirely different experience.

Alternatively check out Caves Branch Lodge and combine your zipline experience with a visit to Mayan ruins, horse riding or caving. Other options include Barton Creek or Jaguar Paw.

Prices range around $40–90 per person per tour. It’s not the cheapest excursion you can do in Belize, but it’s a whole lot of fun. If you want to get your adrenaline pumping while experiencing the wonders of the jungle, there is no better way to do so than ziplining.

Almost everyone can take part too, as long as you’re brave enough to jump off the platform and zip away. Most venues don’t require a high standard of fitness, although you will have to walk between cables under your own steam. If you’ve never been on a zipline before, Belize is a great place to try for the first time.
