Their Mobile Foodie Survival Kit packs 13 essential herbs and spices in small, portable containers. The containers are screwed into each other, inserted into a tin tube and tucked into your luggage, ready for their next destination.
The Kit comes loaded with sea salt, black pepper, cayenne, onion powder, basil, cinnamon, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, curry, rosemary, ginger and dill. Each container holds about 1.5 tablespoons of product. The containers are not labeled individually, which means you have to keep the labeled tube handy, or you have to know your spices. Let’s be honest, if you’re using this product, you probably know your spices. In addition, not labeling the containers makes it possible to tailor your kit and restock them with whatever spices work best in your kitchen. If nothing else, you can label the container in Sharpie.
The biggest complaint about the Foodie Survival Kit is its poor packaging. It has been prone to spilling upon arrival, but it seems Uncommon Goods has sorted this problem out, reverting to packaging in a tin tube. Uncommon Goods also has exceptional customer service, is focused on sustainability and environmental awareness and works with disabled adults, teaching them jobs skills.
