Packing for travel is as easy as stuffing anything and everything you may need into a confined space, zipping it closed and hoping you pass the weight and size limit for carry-on bags. But it’s not always this easy, especially if you end up purchasing souvenirs to bring back home and suddenly find there isn’t any room in your already limited amount of bag space. Biaggi — a luggage company that specializes in foldable luggage — created a line of luggage that solves this problem: the Zipsak Boost expandable carry-on bag.
This expandable carry-on bag rolls on four wheels and serves as the perfect companion to store in overhead bins. At its carry-on size, the bag measures 22 inches by 14 inches by 9 inches and weighs 3.9 pounds. If extra bulk is acquired in the form of gifts or souvenirs, the bag expands six inches in length and offers a second storage compartment for additional items. The increased size is larger than most carry-on restrictions, so the expanded bag will most likely need to be checked before a flight.
This Biaggi bag is made of durable and waterproof nylon resistant to tears, which comes in handy when the bag is tossed about by baggage handlers. Carrying handles on the side and top allow the bag to be carried on its side or from the top, or to be rolled like standard carry-on luggage.
When not in use, the bag folds into its own storage pouch which stores perfectly in small spaces. When folded, the bag shrinks to 15 inches by 10 inches by 5 inches.
