There are many resources for finding teaching jobs overseas. Teaching English abroad is a great way to immerse oneself in another country while earning money. Many people who cannot afford to travel choose this route so they generate an income while living out travel fantasies. A quick search of teaching abroad will yield many results, some reputable companies and others scams. It’s important to do research on every company before choosing to apply. Listed below are a few well-known programs.

Disney English

Let one of the most well-known companies take you to China. Disney English employs those looking to teach English in China at one of the Disney locations. There are teaching centers in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. The Foreign Trainer application is available online and there are infographics on the homepage that explain the process from applying to arriving in China.

CIEE

This program has positions available in Chile, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Morocco, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Vietnam. Research each country before making a decision because no country is alike. While abroad, you can strengthen your language skills and work in a new culture. These skills help later in life on future job searches.
