Under $100 / North America

Situated between Los Angeles and San Diego, Anaheim is perhaps best known as home to Disneyland. Besides Mickey Mouse and friends, the city has plenty of points of interest not to miss.

Grab breakfast at The Original Pancake House. Popular among locals and tourists, the chain operates more than 100 locations in the United States as well as recent additions in Japan and South Korea. In multiple flavors and varieties, pancakes are the main draw. Spend about $11–15 on breakfast. Take a hike at the Oak Canyon Nature Center. The 58-acre park consists of three canyons, four miles of hiking trails and plenty of flora, fauna and wildlife. Entrance is free.

Stroll through the Packing District, a modern public market and food hall. The area consists of a Farmers Park connecting the Packing Building and Packing House. The Packing House is a food hall, featuring more than two dozen distinct restaurants and bars from Vietnamese cuisine to crepes. Stop here for lunch. Prices vary by restaurant. Check the calendar of events for the schedule during your visit.

Skate like a pro at The Rink, official home of NHL team the Anaheim Ducks. Public skating times are available for $11 general admission. If your visit coincides during the baseball season, take in an Angels game. Individual game ticket prices start at $14.

Enjoy dinner at The Blind Rabbit. The speakeasy-style bar and restaurant has a secret entrance. Enjoy elevated pub grub and cocktails for about $30. Keep in mind: A dress code is enforced for men and women, as well as other house rules.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes.
