Located a short drive from Philadelphia in southern New Jersey, Cherry Hill is a family-friendly town with plenty of shopping, dining and other activities.

 

Grab breakfast at Amy’s Omelette House. The enormous menu features breakfast favorites, including more than 200 omelette options. Spend $10–12 for breakfast. Go for a stroll through Cooper River Park. The park spans 346 acres through several townships, with the Cooper River running through.

 

Partake in some retail therapy at the Cherry Hill Mall. One of the oldest operating malls in the United States, the Cherry Hill Mall is home to more than 150 stores and services, including restaurants. During the holidays, the mall hosts impressive displays with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Once you’ve shopped ‘til you dropped, grab lunch at Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar. The menu features an array of burgers and milkshakes, including a special burger of the week and shake of the month. Local beers are on tap. Lunch costs about $20.

 

If you have small children, consider a trip to the Garden State Discovery Museum. The museum features hands-on exhibits, activities and special shows. Admission costs $13.95.

 

Sample Korean cuisine for dinner at Stacey’s Authentic Korean BBQ. Tables are equipped with personal grills to grill meat to your liking. Meals come with a variety of small Korean side dishes like kimchi and beans. Spend $25–40 on dinner. End your day with a drink at Forgotten Boardwalk Brewery. The unassuming brewery features a rotating tap of brews, skee ball games and food trucks. Forgotten Boardwalk is closed Monday–Wednesday.
