While cloud systems and mobile syncing have made file transfer simple for your laptop and phone, the process is a bit more difficult when you don’t have a desktop operating system on hand.
With more and more people ditching the laptop for a tablet, Leef came out with a simple solution for transferring files between Android devices. The device is essentially a flash drive with two connectors. One is a USB 3.0 jack and one microUSB jack common to mobile gadgets.
The device comes with either 16, 32 or 64 gigabytes of storage, allowing users plenty of space for transferring files or reading directly off the drive itself. Designed to work with Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or higher, the Leef Bridge 3.0 will work right out of the box with On The Go devices (most current devices have this or it just has to be enabled in settings).
The drive is formatted to FAT32 and is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS, though it won’t work with iOS. Users will also need file management software on their Android device, with Leef recommending ASTRO File Manager.
