Trazee Travel’s favorite ice cream in the city of Los Angeles.

Honey Mee

HoneyMee is an amazing, locally sourced, rich and inviting ice cream shop located in various places all over California. HoneyMee’s storefront, packaging and interior design esthetic is a clean and traditional take on a throwback ice cream parlor. The ice cream is creamy and rich, which they accredit to the use of local, whole ingredients of milk and honey.

A La Minute

A La Minute is a unique ice cream shop in Orange, Calif., serving 100 percent organic ice cream frozen using liquid nitrogen to order, right in front of the customer. The liquid nitrogen is credited with minimizing ice crystals in the ice cream, making it creamy and smooth. About 80 percent of the products they use are locally sourced from vendors around the area. They also partner with local businesses in developing the product and flavors depending on the season and ingredient availability to maintain freshness in their product.

Sweet Rose Creamery

The Sweet Rose Creamery in Santa Monica creates small batches of hand-made ice cream every day. Sweet Rose Creamery also makes all of their toppings, cones and sauces. They only use the best ingredients available, mostly organic and locally sourced nuts, berries and eggs. Their kitchen is 100 percent kosher and GMO free.

Carmela

Carmela in Los Angeles, Calif., began creating artisan ice cream in 2007 with a food truck, organic, seasonal ingredients and farmers market produce. They eventually began making ice cream in a downtown Los Angeles pizza shop kitchen before opening their own storefront. The brand has seen growth and become a top spot for ice cream in Pasadena, Woodland Hills and LA.

Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant

Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant is an old-school-style diner and candy shop for nostalgic dining. The ice cream is classic and the diner-meets-carnival style restaurant is a fun way to dine and fill up on ice cream and candy.
