This category of clothing features fabric treated with InsectShield, an invisible and odor-free additive that doesn’t rub off on skin. The product repels a variety of bugs that transmit life-threatening diseases like ticks, ants, flies and mosquitoes. InsectShield remains on the fabric through up to 70 machine-wash cycles in cold water and without any bleaches or fabric softeners added.
The line of shirts is also sun-protective with a 30 SPF, and the mesh-lined interior ensures breathability and comfort.
The prices of the BugsAway shirts for both men and women range from $65–80 for a hoodie-style jacket or crew-neck shirt, to between $75–100 for a long-sleeved, button-up, collared shirt.
