Sudden downpours are the bane of every traveler. You’re walking along and the sky opens up, soaking your clothes and, more importantly, your backpack holding all of your valuables. The new Code10 waterproof, lockable bags allow you to explore the outdoors without the risk of drowning your hard drive.
Code10 bags were designed with both utility and safety in mind. Each bag comes with a lock and leave security that allows you to easily reach the pockets on the go but also prevents would-be pickpockets from pilfering your goods. The combo lock is secure and difficult to break so you can feel confident valuables are protected.
The designers wanted a bag you could take with you into a tropical forest, so they made them from 100-percent waterproof materials and seams, along with water-resistant zippers. While not totally submergible, they can survive a steady storm of rain. Each bag contains separate compartments for your tech, including laptops and phones, along with added features like card pockets, adjustable shoulder straps and extra padding.
There are also different designs ranging from your standard daypack to duffel bags and messengers. Each contains its own unique features depending on your needs. The duffel, for instance, comes with wet/dry compartments so you can store soiled clothes away from your clean undies. The daypack has a secret pocket that hides your passport against your back, out of reach of criminals.
The best part is they’re all pretty affordable. The messenger clocks in at $119 while the daypack and duffel cost $139 and $169, respectively. Delivery on the Code10 bags is expected to begin end of March 2018.
