Instead of traveling with a bottle of perfume you invested in that may get confiscated at a variety of security checkpoints, invest in a portable atomizer. These tiny spray bottles carry around 10 milliters of perfume or aftershave and can be reused or discarded while traveling.
They are available everywhere from Amazon to Sephora, but not all of these are created equal. Invest in ones that won’t break and actually spray the perfume onto you. There are many highly ranked on Amazon, but they seem to be more appealing for the design or the occasional use for a night out. If you are purchasing an atomizer for travel, invest in something like Sephora’s Travalo Pocket Atomizer. This item will hold 5 milliliters of perfume and has solid reviews for functionality. At $17 it is not the cheapest one on the market, but it will get you through the end of the day.
Another tip is to get a free sample of your favorite perfume or a new perfume to try from Sephora a few days before your trip. These hold enough perfume for a few days, the inexpensive atomizers work well enough and you cannot beat the price.
