Visiting Tokyo is an amazing experience with tons of things to do, but if you are considering a trip to Disneyland while you are there, read on to decide for yourself if it is worth the trip. (Hint: For die-hard Disney fans, it’s totally worth it!)
Fans will appreciate the fact this is the first Disney park built outside of the United States and will love the many things that make the park stand out, like rides exclusive to Disneyland Tokyo, such as Pooh’s Hunny Hunt. You will even find a few throwback rides retired from American parks.
In Tokyo, the rides feel a little bit faster and the breaks a little bit tighter, making rides like Space Mountain a more thrilling experience than you will find at Disneyland, Disney World or even Disneyland Paris.
When it comes to food, Disney parks always offer tons of options, but in Tokyo you can enjoy some unique treats like mouse-shaped burgers. While you can easily get traditional Disney fare, you also have plenty of choices for Japanese food complete with the plastic food displays Tokyo is famous for. You don’t have to worry about being able to read or pronounce in Japanese, you can simply point to whatever looks good.
There are some cons, of course, like large crowds and long wait lines for both food and rides, but these things are par for the course at any Disney park.
