Puerto Vallarta’s reputation for year-round summer weather and a bumping beach scene definitely lives up to the hype. For travelers looking for a little less downtown and a little more exclusivity, Hotel Mousai raises the bar for a Mexican getaway.
This chic, 5-star, adults-only beach boasts the privacy of a resort tucked away in the Jalisco jungle foliage, above the crowds of downtown, with all the high-end amenities and luxe beach offerings you’d expect.
The all-inclusive property offers a few accommodation levels: Mousai Suite; Mousai Corner Suite; Ultra Mousai Suite; Ultra Mousai Corner Suite; and The Penthouse. Each include a variety of amenities, based on guest’s choices. My Mousai Corner Suite boasted a wrap-around balcony; butler service; a minibar, resembling a medium-sized refrigerator filled with (mostly) included beverages and snacks; a hammock and hot tub on the balcony; iPad-equipped technology throughout the room; his-and-her sinks; and swanky décor. A slew of amenities throughout the hotel include the spa’s aromatherapy pools and a fitness center — to name a few. Check out the included services and all the options guests can choose to upgrade.
One of the highlights of the property, beyond the 5-star cuisine, stunning spa and endless available activities: the rooftop. Head to the infinity pool or ask your butler to reserve a lounge chair for you and take in the sweeping views of this stunning locale.
There’s more than enough to entertain and enjoy all over the property, but leaving the rooftop pool will be one of the more difficult aspects of your stay.
