Whether you’re cycling through Europe or training for the next Tour de Force this little tool will come in handy. We’ve all seen Swiss Army knives before, but this Swiss Army Bike Tool by Victorinox is packed full of tools needed to fix your bike in a pinch.
It weighs in at 3.5 ounces and is small enough to fit in your pocket, so it won’t take up room in your pack or on your bike. The Bike Tool is equipped with five tools in all: an L-wrench, a tire lever, a stainless steel bit adapter, eight bits for common screws and an impact-proof plastic holder for the bits.
Rather than fold out like a Swiss Army Knife, the Bike Tool actually disassembles easily to give you access to all of the parts. When put together the edges are rounded so you don’t have to worry about anything poking you in the side while you’re riding along.
It doesn’t come with some of the cool perks of a regular Swiss Army product, like an emergency corkscrew — which always comes in handy – but it does exactly what it’s designed for fairly well. At a price of $49.50 you might find it a little steep, but it’s put together well enough to justify the price.
