The Greenbrier, the classic American destination resort in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, is celebrating the worlds of fine cuisine, arts and culture, wellness and romance this winter with its second annual Discovery Series.
The collection’s 10 themed weekends invite guests to experience the finer things in life and indulge in a variety of unique activities, including culinary demonstrations, fitness classes, meditation, jewelry workshops and couple’s activities.
Taking place Feb. 6–8 and March 13–15, The Greenbrier’s Arts & Culture Weekends include the chance to try a selection of arts- and culture-themed activities like beaded jewelry workshops, glass-blowing demonstrations, tarot readings, fire dancing classes, history tours of the property and regional wine tastings.
Over Valentine’s Day Weekend, Feb. 13–15, the resort beckons couples to indulge in true romance with activities such as dance classes, wine tastings, a chocolate and wine pairing, Champagne toasts and the Waltz in its Casino Club.
Running Feb. 20–22 and March 6–8, The Greenbrier’s Culinary Weekends offer participants the opportunity to enjoy cooking tutorials, Greenbrier label tastings, special regional and cultural meals, wine tastings and kitchen stadium competitions.
Held Feb. 27–March 1 and March 27–29, its Wellness Weekends provided health-minded travelers with relaxing and rejuvenating activities such as group meditation, reflexology demonstrations, yoga, health-conscious mixology classes and wine tastings, fitness classes, hiking and 5k runs as well as golf and tennis sessions and lessons at discounted rates.
