A number of new Minor Hotels properties are debuting in either late 2026 or 2027.
Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel — Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
This will be the first Avani property in Malaysian Borneo when it opens in 2027. The concept is designed as an ideal spot for both those exploring the city and those who want to explore outdoor adventure opportunities within the nearby vicinity. It will have more than 350 guestrooms and suites.
The Rasa Resort Samui, Colbert Collection — Koh Samui, Thailand
Similarly, this property will be the first for this brand in Asia entirely. It’s anticipated to open in the early part of the year, with 32 rooms, a day-to-night beach house and oceanside pool.
