Traveling the world is a life-altering experience, but sometimes it can be a let down if you reach an area in the middle of winter and find it covered knee deep in snow. It’s important to take a country’s location into account before booking a flight. Nobody wants to hit the beach when it’s only 15 degrees.

Spring
The best thing to do in the spring is stay home. We mean in your country, not your house. The United States is at its best in the springtime. Culture festivals begin to pop up all across the country and the cherry blossoms finally bloom in Washington, D.C. If you haven’t taken that road trip around the country yet, plan to do it between March and June.
Summer
Head south for the summer. Mexico, the Caribbean and South America are home to some of the best beaches in the world and the temperatures spike during the summertime. They’re the perfect destinations to catch some rays and take a dip in the warm ocean waters.
Autumn
The fall is when you should pack up and explore parts of Europe or Northern Asia. The temperatures here are fair during this time of year and many areas in this part of the world celebrate the impending winter with large festivals. You’ll be able to walk the streets of London and Paris with nothing more than a light jacket this time of year.
Winter
This should come as no surprise, but Africa is the best place to dampen your summertime blues. The continent is perpetually hot, so it’s a great place to work on your tan. Australia is also a great option thanks to its position south of the equator, but it does occasionally see snow.
