Where to Eat
The city is an epicurean paradise, with top-notch cuisine serving everything from iconic street food to Michelin dining. It’s easy to enjoy a solo meal in Zürich without feeling out of place, as many restaurants here offer small and intimate settings that naturally suit solo diners. Alfresco dining is particularly popular for people watching. Places like Park Stadelhofen are outside and serve light bites and cocktails. How to Get Around
The city is compact, making it easy to explore on foot. From wandering through alleyways in Old Town or strolling along the promenade to Zurichhorn park or browsing boutique storefronts on Bahnhofstrasse, you’ll quickly reach your daily step goal. But if you do wish to get around other than walking, the city boasts a world-class public transport system known for its punctuality. There are trams, buses and trains, so you can navigate the city with ease.
