Berlin, Germany, is filled with so much history and excitement, no person would be able to cover it all in one day unless you took a tour with Fat Tire Bike Tours. I was able to see and learn so much about Berlin while getting great exercise.
While cycling through the city, I learned more about the city’s founding, the Prussians, the Weimer Republic, Hitler and the Third Reich, the Berlin Wall and the Berlin of today. Seeing major monuments and things only seen in textbooks was amazing.
Since the tour included lunch we stopped at a beer garden located in the heart of Berlin’s city park; the food was delicious. Six miles and 4.5 hours later, the tour was finished. Fat Tire Bike Tours did a great job of showing tourists what was within the city of Berlin. I was extremely satisfied with my experience; I would definitely go back. Who would have thought learning so much history in one day could be so entertaining?
