Traveling is a chance to see new places and try new things, but this new UFO hotel is a real out-of-this-world experience. The UFO Hotel is a work in progress started by Luis Ramallo. Ramallo hopes to build the world’s finest UFO hotel in Baker, Calif.
The proposed hotel would include 31 themed rooms, a Mothership Mall, spa, pool and bar. Ramallo estimates rooms would cost $750 per night — not bad for an otherworldly experience. The layout of the hotel is based on a spacecraft that supposedly landed in Baker. Ramallo plans to make the UFO Hotel an all-inclusive experience; there will be dining options, shops and a nightclub.
Previous to the UFO Hotel, Ramallo pioneered the Alien Fresh Jerky (an intergalactic-themed beef jerky shop) and is a UFO enthusiast. The UFO-friendly town of Baker is about halfway between Las Vegas and California. The UFO Hotel will provide a quirky stop for roadtrippers and a destination for UFO-fanatics.
Unfortunatelty, the UFO Hotel Kickstarter terminated funding June 9. While the future of the UFO Hotel remains uncertain, we can only hope the universe cooperates and makes this galactic dream a reality.
