There’s a new type of restorative travel in town: JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo just unveiled Asia’s first Mindful Rooms and Suites, a curated collection of experiences crafted to nurture inner balance and elevate the art of living well.
What exactly can one expect from a stay in one of these Mindful Rooms and Suites? These spots can be found on the 28th floor of the hotel, alongside the spa and fitness center, and you’ll find mindfulness in every detail, design and amenity within.

Yoga mats, yoga blocks, Pilates rings, dumbbells, massage guns and meditation cushions complemented by crystal singing bowls and aroma diffusers promote a state of meditation and fitness. Beauty and bath rituals are elevated with luxurious bath oils from Aromatherapy Associates and ISUN, the same products used in treatments at the hotel’s spa.
Guests will also find a curated trio of organic herbal teas from Art of Tea, while a bespoke journal encourages guests to embrace the present. Wireless speakers in both the bedroom and bath deliver a curated meditation playlist, enveloping guests in utter tranquility.
From the moment of check-in, guests are treated to a private check-in and check-out experience in the spa lounge, removed from the hotel’s busy main reception. Bespoke service from mindfulness-trained staff and curated concierge service is provided. This includes ikebana, kintsugi, calligraphy, bonsai and Hakone hot springs, unlocking exclusive access to some of Tokyo’s most refined wellness experiences.
