Searching for a great camera to capture all your best travel moments, but not sure where to start? Give one of these newbie-approved cameras a shot.
The Canon Rebel series is a great choice for beginning photographers who aren’t quite sure what they’re doing, but know they want to do it well. It’s a great introduction to using a DSLR camera, but gives you a little helping hand, such as automatic and semi-automatic options, until you learn all the different features. Additionally, it’s a good starting point for your new YouTube channel with decent video capabilities.
The Nikon D3400 is a good learner DSLR, with lots of functions, but a less-hefty price tag. There are some pro’s and con’s, though. The lack of a touchscreen may turn you off, but the Bluetooth connectivity makes it easier than ever for you to snap professional-quality pics while on the road and send them directly to your phone for posting on Instagram.
This camera is easy to tote, and it has high-end features to boot, like 4K video recording, which will put you far ahead of the YouTube pack when making your travel vlogs. For just photos, though, this camera still does an excellent job, and it won’t feel like a burden carrying it from country to country.
This camera has a lot of features the pro’s love, but it still offers enough customization and features that a photography enthusiast could get a handle on it relatively quickly. This one has built-in WiFi, for, again, sharing those great photos straight to Instagram. Plus, the retro design makes it look straight from the 1960s, which we can’t help but love.
