Barcelona has earned a reputation as one of the best cities for the LGBT community when a party is in the works. On your next visit to Barcelona, enjoy one of the following bars or clubs and mingle with people from all over the continent, and world!
El Cangrejo
With two locations (Eixample and Raval), the ¨crab¨ hosts 80s nights and drag shows, attracting a younger crowd but never without hours of pumping music and action. The Eixample location blasts local Spanish pop music for lively sing-alongs.
Osbar
Although ¨os¨ is Catalan for bear, this Eixample bar is not exclusively for bears and the men who love them. Its extensive hours of operation begin at 8 a.m. when breakfast is served, until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. On select afternoons, they host English board game competitions.
Sky Bar at Axel Hotel
Barcelona´s boutique gay hotel boasts a rooftop bar with splendid views of the city. During the day, lie by the pool on sun loungers, and by night grab a cocktail and mingle with guests on the top of Barcelona.
Arena
If you´re looking for dancing, look no further than Arena Disco. Its five locations in the city welcome gay men, lesbians and their friends for striptease contests and hours of dancing well into the early morning.
Museum and Metro Disco
Located diagonally across the street from each other, Museum is a great pre-club spot to share a cocktail and chat before heading underground to Metro, where you can dance, take shots and mingle with go-go dancers.
