Witch Rocks Surf Camp is great for those making surfing a priority. This camp has a beachfront hotel and a sister hotel where breakfast is included. The hotel and surf classes are located in Tamarindo, a gorgeous surf town in Costa Rica. The provide airport transportation on Saturdays, unlimited surf rentals and classes for any level of surf experience. This comprehensive surf school is sure to make a professional surfer out of anyone.
Just looking for some day lessons? It’s understandable that on a trip to Costa Rica you can’t limit yourself to one activity for the duration. Spend a day or two at the Soul Surf Surfing School for quick lessons that will get teach you the fundamentals of surfing. This surf school is highly rated by previous visitors. They use more than 15 different surf spots to make sure the tide and force of the waves are suited to the level of the participant. They also have boards available for rent.
Another great option is Believe, a company based in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, that helps plan custom surf and yoga vacations. Like Witch Rocks Surf Camp, they also offer accommodations at the Believe Surf House; Believe Villas, a beachfront hotel; and Believe Lodge. They have vacations centered on surfing, but also standalone lessons with the team of professionals.
