Located in San Marcos, Texas, the San Marcos River water temperature hovers around 72 degrees. There are several routes to take, including a popular one-mile stretch that takes about one hour to complete. Alcohol is permitted in the water, so grab some drinks before you go.
Situated between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Delaware River is an ideal spot for summer tubing. While the river stretches thousands of miles, some of the best tubing options are in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The river is a tributary of the Potomac River, primarily in Virginia. There are various tubing options available, as well as white-water rafting for the more adventurous.
The idyllic river in central northern Florida spans six miles. Spend about 90 minutes floating under the shade of the local oak trees.
Located in Sonoma and Mendicino counties in California, the river is perfect for long tubing excursions. As you’ll be in wine country, bring the necessary provisions for a picnic.
