The Capital One Venture Rewards card is a fantastic air miles card that rewards you with a one-time bonus of 40,000 miles, about $400 in travel, when you spend just $3,000 on purchases in the first three months of having your card. The best part is you earn two unlimited miles for every $1 you spend on anything, making your mileage increase twice as fast. There aren’t any restricted dates for booking your flights, giving you total freedom to choose when you use them.

Not only is this card great for accumulating air miles, it also offers many Visa Signature privileges, such as advanced ticket sales to events and even a 24/7 concierge service. There’s a $0 introductory annual fee, but $59 thereafter. Its regular APR is between 13.24 and 23.24 percent.
