My Plain Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows

Fans of classic literature will rejoice over this novel. It’s a follow-up to the popular New York Times bestseller My Lady Jane. In this adventure, Jane Eyre takes Charlotte Bronte on a ghost-hunting mystery. A teacher is murdered, so Jane and her friends work hard to get to the bottom of it. It’s a bunch of twists and turns with some classic characters thrown in the mix. The book came out June 26.

 

Royals by Rachel Hawkins

This book is a good one to bring to the beach or lake house and read by the water. It’s the story of a normal girl named Daisy Winters who goes from working at her local Walmart to moving to a castle in Scotland with her sister and future brother-in-law, the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy must now learn the ways of Scottish royalty all while trying not to fall for the man she’s determined to hate.

 

The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James

Romy Silvers is the daughter of two astronauts and is used to life in space. When both of her parent’s tragically die, she’s left along on the Infinity, a spaceship heading away from Earth. She copes with being alone for awhile, until she hears news of another spaceship joining hers. She begins exchanging messages with the captain, but soon realizes maybe she was better off alone.

United Continues Its Global Expansion

United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
