Beverly Hills Proclaims “Clueless Day” on July 19 in Honor of Film’s 30th Anniversary

Calling all fans of the 1995 classic Clueless! Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau prepares to roll out the yellow plaid carpet for a celebration of the hit movie. In addition to being a cult classic, Clueless also showcases the best of Beverly Hills.

Part of Paramount Pictures’ global anniversary campaign, fans, travelers and locals alike can discover the world of Cher Horowitz. From shopping sprees on Rodeo Drive to riding around palm tree-lined streets, fans can visit the iconic filming locations and immerse themselves in the stylish, iconic setting of Clueless.

The main event is the city festival planned for July 19, officially proclaimed “Clueless Day.” In partnership with Street Food Cinema, the festival will feature an outdoor screening of the film, a 1990s-style costume contest, photo ops, food trucks, live music, giveaways and maybe some surprise appearances.

The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel

From July 15 to Aug. 15, book A Totally Perfect Spa-cation at Beverly Wilshire. This experience includes coffee-infused treatments, diamond face masks, hydrating foot masks, access to the fitness center, complimentary valet parking and a Beverly Wilshire gift for parties up to four. Make sure to stop by The Blvd Restaurant to try Executive Pastry Chef Yoon Lee’s new Cher-ished Delight dessert.

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills

L’Ermitage’s spacious luxury suite will sport a new look from July 12 to Sept. 1. The suite turns into a stunning tribute to the iconic film through a partnership with Bloomingdale’s Century City, the City of Beverly Hills, Paramount Pictures and legendary costume designer Mona May. The suite will sport a yellow plaid accent wall, a Cher-worthy closet and an exclusive yellow plaid outfit designed by Emmy-winning costume designer Marco Marco. Additionally, guests will get a personal shopping session, a $100 Bloomingdale’s gift card and a Jeep Wrangler to cruise around the city.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

On Aug. 6, The Beverly Hills Hotel partners with Paramount Home Entertainment for a special outdoor screening of Clueless. Thanks to its iconic pink façade and palm tree-lined garden, the hotel’s Crystal Garden will serve as the perfect backdrop to transport guests into Cher Horowitz’s world. The night will have movie-themed welcome drinks, a popcorn and candy station, delicious snacks, nostalgic desserts, and more.
