This October, Asheville, North Carolina, welcomes another boutique hotel to its growing collection of unique accommodations: Zelda Dearest invites guests to stay in a space dedicated to Zelda Fitzgerald. Wife of famous author F. Scott Fitzgerald, Zelda became an icon of opulence and beauty in the early 1900s. Her life, legacy and talent as an artist, novelist and poet inspired the design and décor of Zelda Dearest.

The 20-room hotel occupies three thoughtfully resorted, turn-of-the-century mansions within the city’s South Slope neighborhood. Designed by Anderson Design Firm, each room embraces an enchanting personality to best reflect the life and character of Zelda herself.
Guests of Zelda Dearest will also find a charming parlor bar inspired by her clandestine meetings with F. Scott Fitzgerald. Headed by local, award-winning chef Jacob Sessoms, this cocktail bar brings Zelda’s romantic prose to life.

Zelda Dearest marks the second partnership between Lark Hotels and Hatteras Sky. The other new property from the duo, The Radical, opens to guests in Asheville this October. Zelda Dearest will begin accepting reservations Oct. 8 with rates starting at $319.
