Boston is home to many great restaurants, highlighting the regional cuisine of New England as well as other unique dining experiences. While some of the options in Boston may be pricey, we’ve put together a list of the best cheap eats in the city.
This French bistro offers a fixed-price brunch for $11.95 on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy juice, coffee, pastries and a selection of French entrees.
The restaurant serves up Xi’an-style Chinese cuisine. Its specialty is the hand-pulled noodles. The garlicky noodles only cost $6 for a bowl.
Boston Public Market is open year-round and offers great local dishes. Red Apple Farm has a stand here, selling its famous apple cider donuts. Order one for $1, a half-dozen for $4.99 or a dozen for $8.99.
A visit to Boston isn’t complete without eating a lobster roll. While many restaurants serve the iconic sandwich, Sullivan’s offers a waterfront dining location and some history — the restaurant has been open since 1951. Enjoy a lobster roll for $14.95. The seasonal restaurant is open the last weekend in February through the last weekend in November.
Local chain Tasty Burger sells burgers starting at $4.95. Combos including the Starvin’ Student (hamburger or cheeseburger, fries and a beer for $10) are available, too. There are five locations in and around Boston.
