Cartoon Network Hotel Opens in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Lovers of all things cartoon have the opportunity to stay in a hotel just as crazy about the drawn world as they are.

This year, Cartoon Network opened a 6-acre, themed hotel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where guest ooms, suites and common areas transport guests to a cartoon world of magic.

On-site amenities include an oversized outdoor screen that airs Cartoon Network shows, including never-before-seen episodes, and the Adventure Time “Land of P’Oool” which includes a Powerpuff Girls “Splashville” splash pad.

If the weather isn’t cooperating, the indoor play areas have enough to keep you busy, including a kid’s Toon Room or the Ben 10 Omnicade with air hockey, skee-ball and two virtual reality pods, open 24 hours a day. There’s also an indoor heated pool for the cold winter months with an activities room, hot tub and kiddie pool.

At the Cartoon Kitchen, guests can sample dishes featured in some of the network’s popular TV shows; the Bearista Cafe serves other snacks and drinks like coffee; and the poolside Land of P’Oool Concession Stand will offer light bites like salads and sandwiches as well as frozen drinks to beat the heat.

Guests can get creative by requesting a custom-decorated room based on one of six Cartoon Network shows, offering an element of personability to a colorful stay.
