View films and videos celebrating the Latino experience at the 23rd annual San Diego Latino Film Festival. This year’s festival takes place March 10–20 at the AMC Fashion Valley 18 and the Digital Gym Cinema in North Park. More than 160 screenings occur during the festival.
The festival includes parties, workshops, art exhibitions and meet-and-greets with international film and television stars. Three ticket options are available. The All Access VIP Festival Pass includes more than 120 screenings, priority seating, filmmaker workshops, party access and one-year complimentary CINE CLUB membership. The VIP pass costs $175. The $100 Film Pass includes 11 screenings and access to early admission with priority seating. The Five-Movie Ticket Pack gains customers entrance to five movie screenings for $45. Check the website for a list of free screenings.
In connection with the film festival, two other events take place during festival week. The Sabor Latino Beer and Food Festival takes place March 19 and the Sabor Latino Wine and Food Festival takes place March 20. Prices vary. Admission cost covers food and beverage tastings.
