Brew hounds and craft beer enthusiasts: Mark your calendars. San Diego Beer Week is a county-wide festival celebrating all things beer. In its sixth year, the 10-day festival hosts hundreds of beer-centric events highlighting the city’s award-winning craft beers, breweries and pubs. This year’s event takes place Nov. 6–15.
Kicking off the week is the 13th annual San Diego Brewers Guild Festival on Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego. Sample brews from more than 50 local breweries and enjoy snacks from nearby food trucks while raising money for charity. Events take place throughout the city and include an Oktoberfest beer and trolley tour, a panel with home brewers, beer and cheese pairings and craft beer and food truck tastings.
San Diego Beer Week winds down with a beer garden on the Arroyo Terrace of the Lodge at Torrey Pines. The beer garden features brews from 24 breweries and food from 12 local chefs. It is the ultimate pairing event. Admission includes unlimited tasters of beer and food. Participating breweries include San Diego Brewing Company, Duck Foot Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits Company, Aztec Brewing Company and Prohibition Brewing Company.
Prices vary by event. Like San Diego Beer Week on Facebook for the latest information.
