The health and wellness industry has had a major comeuppance in the tech scene in the last few years. With affordable apps offering mobile personal trainers, fitness programs and now gym memberships, the traditional gym experience is a thing of the past.
ClassPass is the new name on the gym membership scene and has opened our eyes to great classes and new fitness experiences. The mobile app allows gym-goers to reserve a spot in any class held in a variety of different gyms connected to Class Pass. The concept of the app encourages members to mix up their routine and keep from getting bored and plateau.
The ClassPass app is great for those in a well-populated city or town, or for those who travel. With a selection of gyms available all over the country, members can stray from the hotel gym and try out classes in the visiting area and feel like a local or hop around in their own area.
Depending on the resident city, this virtual gym membership costs between $79 and $129 a month. The membership is high, but allows members to attend any class at any gym within the studios available, rather than confining them to one gym. The pass works best in busier areas, but check out the list of gyms and cities where ClassPass is available and see if it is worth the fee for your area.
