Trends / Unique Itineraries & Tours

Millions of people around the world plunk down cash on cruises as soon as the weather starts to turn warm. We think this is kind of silly considering how much they cost during the summer months. Instead, maybe you should opt for a cruise when the weather starts to cool.

Most popular cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Line offer some of their best trips during the winter months. They’re often more affordable than a summer cruise due to less demand, but they still take you to great places.

Once the snow starts falling, you can find great deals on trip to the Caribbean, as long as you avoid the holidays. Carnival Dream is a great opportunity to take the kids along for a break from school. It has a Dr. Seuss immersion experience sure to delight and starts at only $499. The cruise starts from New Orleans and takes you all the way down to Cozumel for warm fun in the sun.

Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas still sets sail in the winter and will gladly take you down to the Bahamas while you enjoy some on-board zip lining and even an ice-skating rink.

If you didn’t manage to take a trip this summer and still feel the need to get away for awhile, go ahead and book a trip on a cruise this winter. You’ll escape the cold weather for a bit and your coworkers will definitely be jealous of your January tan.
