Get cooking on your next visit to Royal Mansour Marrakech, which recently launched Royal Mansour Cooking School. It’s a fitting addition as the property is home to four restaurants led by Michelin-starred chefs. The hotel’s chefs lead the Cooking School, equipped with professional equipment centered around an island.
Students and chefs cook shoulder to shoulder in the kitchen during the customized workshops designed for all skill levels. The two-hour classes take on three culinary themes: Moroccan, Italian and Pastry. Each class ends with an alfresco tasting of the dishes at a grand marble table under a veranda overlooking the hotel’s gardens.
In the Moroccan Cooking Class, participants explore traditional Moroccan recipes for dishes like chicken tagine, M’rouzia lamb with saffron almonds, and spinach-cheese briouates, with the class available Saturday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
During the Italian Cooking Class, offered Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–12 p.m., the class masters fresh pasta, potato gnocchi and Amatriciana sauce. Offered on the same days, 3–5 p.m., the Pastry Class focuses on creating profiteroles, vanilla ice cream, chocolate tarts, cookies and other treats.
Workshops start at $155, for up to six participants. Reserve your spot at least 48 hours in advance.
