Ever wonder what it would be like to climb aboard the TARDIS? Well, fans of the BBC’s Doctor Who, rejoice! Cardiff, where much of the show is filmed, is home to the one and only Doctor Who Experience, an interactive must-see for those who love The Doctor.

The Doctor Who Experience has everything a diehard fan of the show would want. An interactive, brand-new, exclusive adventure starring Peter Capaldi puts you right in the action. The permanent exhibition takes you on a trip through time and space, featuring The Doctor’s costumes, past TARDIS props and all kinds of wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey goodness to enjoy. There are also walking tours, which show you where in Cardiff different sets (and cities) have been constructed or scenes taped.

Timing your visit to Cardiff during the show’s off-season is a must, because more sets are available for tours when filming isn’t taking place. One that no Who devotee should miss: the TARDIS itself. Oh yes, you can climb onto the set that has been home to The Doctor and his companions since 2012. But no good TARDIS would stay in one place for long, so be sure to check the website often to see when tours are available.
