Dubai Opens World’s Largest “Experience Resort”

 JA The Resort, Dubai, reopened last month as the city’s largest experience resort. With more than 10 million square feet of experiences and activities, the resort is truly an oasis in the middle of the desert.

The resort sits on 2,500 feet of private beach, with access to a 104-berth private marina, nine-hole golf course and shooting club. Additionally, the resort was named Dubai’s Most Sustainable Resort by the Dubai government.

The property’s refurbishments include all-glass balconies off guestrooms, for better, panoramic sea views; new guestroom decor, with wood flooring and a muted color palette of grays and neutral colors; and new restaurants. The entire facade of the resort has been updated as well. New dining options include Sette, an Italian eatery with 360-degree views; Phoenicia, serving modern Middle Eastern cuisine with an award-winning chef at the helm; and Vasco Da Gama, a Portuguese-inspired bar.

JA The Resort, Dubai, is less than 10 minutes from Dubai Parks & Resorts, 20 minutes from JBR and 30 minutes from Dubai Mall. Within JA The Resort, guests can find the new JA Lake View Hotel as well, and the JA Palm Tree Court, with its Mediterranean-style villa suites. Across the three total stay options within the resort, guests will enjoy seven landscaped swimming pools, four swim-up bars, 25 restaurants and bars, four tennis courts, squash courts, badminton courts, horse stables, a mini-golf course and water sports center. There are also six shooting ranges, a spa, kids club and bio-garden.
