Whether a long weekend or a month-long journey is on the horizon, knowing what to pack can be a pre-adventure headache. According to PackingEssentials.com, ¨Every journey begins with a good packing list, ¨ and the site helps with just that.
First, the site asks for the destination and dates of travel. Then the criteria get a bit more specific and ask for information such as the type of trip (business, international, university, etc.), the category of accommodation and any activities that may take place from hiking to skiing to camping.
After clicking Generate List, travelers will be asked to rate their packing personality as either minimal, normal or perfectionist. Once selected, suggested packing lists will populate into subsections such as clothing, electronics and accessories.
Bolded items indicate strong suggestions of necessary essentials such as clothing, chargers, passports, etc. Shaded items are not-as-obvious packables that may be overlooked by some and don´t always apply to all travelers, like shower shoes or extra batteries.
