See the local side of San Francisco, Barcelona, San Diego, Lisbon and Madrid with GoCar Tours.
The tour company provides a cure for the common tour with storytelling cars. No need to navigate public transportation, rent a car, carry a map around or constantly refer to your smartphone’s GPS; GoCars take riders on a GPS-guided tour through popular cities around the globe.
The car literally talks to guests as it takes them to famous sites on a city’s tourist trail and highlights historic facts about each stop in order to bring the destination to life. In addition, it also recommends restaurants and cracks jokes.
The GoCar Tours concept launched in San Francisco in 2004 and is now available in both the United States and Europe.
Drivers can explore destinations at their own pace in their GoCar. You can stop for photos, take detours, grab a coffee or break for lunch.
GoCars are capable of speaking to guests in six languages, including English, Italian, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese. A maximum of two people are able to ride in the vehicle at one time and renters must be 21 years of age or older.
Tours are available for different prices depending on the city. For example, renters can explore more than 200 points of interest in San Francisco, including Pier 39 and Golden Gate Park, and meander down the most crooked street in the world for tours starting from $56.
