Italian airline Neos Airlines recently announced plans to launch the first-ever non-stop flight between the United States and the region of Puglia in southern Italy. The new route connects New York (JFK) with Bari (BRI), Puglia’s capital city.
Flights will operate seasonally through Oct. 15 via Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring premium economy and economy cabins. Flights depart JFK every Tuesday at 4 p.m. and arrive in Bari the next day at 8 a.m. Flights leave Bari at 11:30 a.m. and land in JFK the same day, at 1:50 p.m.

“Thanks to this new Puglia route, NEOS will have a daily flight from North America to Italy with four frequencies to Milan, two to Palermo and now one to Bari,” said Carlo Stradiotti, CEO, Neos Airlines, “significantly increasing leisure and business travel between the two countries.”
This new route marks the third city connected by Neos to John F. Kennedy International Airport; Neos also links New York to Milan (MXP) and Palermo (PMO). In addition to its link in the United States, Neos Airlines serves many European airports, as well as a few other North American airports, including Toronto (YYZ) and Cancún (CUN).
