Baseball stadiums don’t just sell peanuts and Cracker Jacks anymore. There are now more choices than ever when it comes to ballpark eats, so don’t settle on an average hot dog.
As if you need another reason to visit Yankee Stadium, they have one of the most extensive stadium menus, overwhelming fans. From burgers to beef empanadas, fried pickles, meatball sandwiches, chicken and beef tacos to coconut rum-glazed BBQ smoked ribs, Bronx dining has taken it to another level. There’s something unique to eat near every seat, with some areas boasting a larger selection than others.
Lobel’s of New York, the butcher shop institution, serves hand-carved steak sandwiches to order for $15, located in Sections 134 and 321. Parm, the outpost of Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi’s Nolita sandwich shop and restaurant, serves a smaller menu inside the stadium. Options include meatball parm and a mozzarella sandwich for $14, located in Section 104. Brother Jimmy’s BBQ, the barbecue restaurant located in Sections 133, 201, 214 and 320 A, offers Carolina pulled pork sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches, beef sandwiches, fried pickles, mac ‘n’ cheese and beans with smoked pork. Located in Great Hall, Yankee logo-branded chicken and waffle sliders are front-runners for the best things to eat at the ballpark.
Section 100 includes Johnny Rockets, Carl’s Steak, Garlic Fries, Noodle Bowl and Sushi Stand, Tommy Bahamas Marlin Bar, Big Cheese and traditional Nathan’s, among many more options.
Section 200 includes sweet treats from Linda’s Egg Creams, a pop-up soda shop based in Brooklyn, Dippin’ Dots’, Turkey Hill Ice Cream and Sweetfrog.
In addition to the food, the stadium is adding several craft beers including 10 Barrel Apocalypse IPA, Checker Cab Blonde Ale and Blue Point Toasted Lager.
