Want to get up close and personal with Indonesia’s endangered turtle population in a safe and responsible way? You can do so through October at two resorts: The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali, and The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok.

In Bali, witness the very beginnings of the endangered Olive Ridley sea turtle life cycle, as Seminyak Beach provides nesting grounds for turtles. The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali features its own protected nesting area to keeps turtle eggs safe from predators. Once the eggs hatch, hotel staff care for the baby turtles before releasing them after about a day. Guests can enjoy guided tours of the on-site turtle sanctuary, as well as participate in the release of the baby turtles (if they’re lucky enough to stay at the property during such an event).
At the Lombok resort, guests enjoy access to Medana Bay, where Olive Ridley sea turtles live as adults. The resort includes a PADI dive center with instructors, and guests are invited to go on diving excursions where they’ll see not only sea turtles, but also a range of marine life.

Want to experience all of the above? A current offer from the two resorts allows guests to book a stay across both for a minimum of six nights with transfers between the two included.
