It’s that time of year again. Yes, I mean the holidays, and unless you are one of those proactive people who manage to shop before the crowds start, you are more than likely starting now. From crowds to deals and managing holiday plans, the holidays are now a symbol of stress and anxiety.

We are here to help keep your holidays and wallet merry and bright. Follow our holiday shopping tips to navigate the holiday shopping madness and save your time to spend it where it really counts — with your family.

Create a plan: Write down everyone you plan on giving gifts to and then put a dollar figure next to each name. Having a budget in mind is a major holiday tip to avoid overspending.

Start saving as early as possible. Start as early as a year ahead of time or even in the summer. Open a holiday savings account you can deposit money into every now and then. By the time holiday shopping comes, you won’t have to worry. Starting early not only goes for the finances, but also for the shopping. Don’t wait until after Thanksgiving to start buying. Keep your eyes open all year-round.

Do online research. Know what brand, make, model and product you want before you go into the store. Try to find the best online price and use a comparison-shopping site.

If you are brave and looking for great deals, Black Friday is a must. While there are many doorbuster deals, some aren’t any cheaper than the regular sale price — so before you camp out right after Thanksgiving dinner, do your research.

Take advantage of Cyber Monday, as it is the biggest online shopping day of the holiday season. It’s just like Black Friday, but from the comfort of your home and without the crowds. Stay up to date with advance notice about sales and insider deals; sign up to receive emails from your favorite stores.

Get no-cost holiday shipping. On a certain day, closer to Christmas, many retailers will offer free shipping with delivery by Christmas Eve, and if not, search online for coupon codes for free shipping.

Remember to relax, sometimes the best presents are simply the memories made during the season.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet
